Sharing and Export

Resource Analyzer provides multiple options for saving, sharing, and exporting your analysis results.

Saving Analysis Views

Save Current View

  1. Click the Save button in the toolbar
  2. All current settings and filters are preserved
  3. View state is saved to the project

Discard Changes

  1. Click the Discard button
  2. Confirm the discard action
  3. Returns to last saved state

Unsaved Changes

Discarding changes cannot be undone. Save important configurations before discarding.

Sharing Analysis

  1. Click the Share button Share Icon in the toolbar
  2. Link is automatically copied to clipboard
  3. Recipients must have project access
  4. The latest saved view settings will apply when the user opens the link

Access Control

  • Only users with project access can view shared links
  • Organization permissions apply to shared analyses
  • Links remain valid until underlying data changes

Access download options through the download button:

  • JSON Format

    • Complete resource estimate data
    • Suitable for programmatic analysis
    • Includes all metrics and relationships
  • PNG Format

    • Raster image of current view
    • Best for presentations
    • Includes all visible elements
  • SVG Format

    • Vector graphic of current view
    • Suitable for publications
    • Scalable without quality loss

Export Best Practices

  1. For Documentation

    • Use SVG format
    • Include relevant filters
    • Add title and copyright if needed
  2. For Presentations

    • Use PNG format
    • Consider color scheme
    • Crop the image after export to focus on relevant sections
  3. For Analysis

    • Export JSON data
    • Include all metrics
    • Document export settings

Publication Quality

When preparing visualizations for publication:

  1. Apply appropriate filters
  2. Use clear color scaling
  3. Export as SVG
  4. Include relevant metrics
